Medicare and insurance decisions affect your health and your money, so the information on our site has to be right. Here's who writes it, where it comes from and how we keep it current.

A licensed agent reviews every page before it's published.

Where our information comes from

We rely on official sources:

• Medicare.gov and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
• The Social Security Administration
• HealthCare.gov
• The IRS, for HSA rules
• The South Carolina Department of Insurance

For plan details, we use the insurance companies' own documents, like the Evidence of Coverage and Annual Notice of Change.

How we keep it current

Medicare changes every year. We review our Medicare pages each fall before Annual Enrollment and update them when CMS or Social Security releases new figures, like Part B premiums and IRMAA income brackets.

What we won't do

• We don't publish plan prices or tell you which plan to pick without knowing your doctors, prescriptions and budget.
• Our content is general education. It isn't legal or tax advice.
• We follow CMS rules for Medicare marketing.

How we're paid

When you enroll through us, the insurance company pays us. You pay the same premium whether you enroll with us or on your own.
