About Jennifer
After a 20-year career in banking and finance, Jennifer founded Mauldin Insurance Group in 2021, specializing in Medicare, Health, Supplemental, and Life Insurance. As a second-generation entrepreneur, she provides direct service to her clients, building deep, one-on-one connections to meet their individual needs.
Jennifer is certified and graduated from the Maxwell Leadership Program. She is also heavily involved in the community and is a proud Senior Advocate. Jennifer volunteers weekly at Mission Lexington, is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers, the Managers, the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, and Senior Care Professional of the Midlands.
Married to her husband, Ben, Jennifer enjoys traveling, binge-watching crime stories and documentaries, cooking, trying new restaurants, exercising, gardening, and supporting all South Carolina Gamecock sports. About Ben
After a 30-year career in public service—culminating in over a decade as Executive Director of the Central Midlands Council of Governments—Ben Mauldin has joined his wife at Mauldin Insurance Group to bring his leadership, analytical skills, and passion for community support to the world of insurance. Ben now works alongside his wife to serve clients across South Carolina, offering personalized guidance in Medicare, life, and health insurance.
Throughout his career, Ben worked extensively with programs that serve older adults, including oversight and collaboration with the Central Midlands Area Agency on Aging and the South Carolina Department on Aging. This deep background gives him unique insight into the needs of seniors and the resources available to support them—making him a trusted guide for clients navigating Medicare and retirement-related coverage.
At Mauldin Insurance Group, Ben is proud to support every aspect of client service—from policy reviews to coverage consultations—as part of a dedicated, family-run team committed to putting people first.
Meet Chipper
Chipper is an 11-year-old black standard Dachshund and the beloved mascot of Mauldin Insurance Group. With his wise eyes, silver-speckled snout, and signature red leash, Chipper brings charm and calm to the office every day. Whether he’s greeting clients with a wag of his tail or snoozing, he keeps a watchful eye to ensure everyone is getting the best coverage possible.
