More Than Insurance: Why We Do What We Do 
I'll be upfront with you — Jennifer and I didn't get into insurance because we love paperwork. We got into it because we genuinely like helping people figure things out, especially when life gets complicated.

And if you know us at all, you know that doesn't stop when we're not at work.

We're a small, independent insurance agency based in Lexington, SC — and we serve families and individuals across the Columbia metro area, including Cayce, Irmo, West Columbia, and beyond. But more than anything, we're just two people who are deeply rooted in this community.

I serve on the board of Our Place of Hope in Cayce — a nonprofit that walks alongside families going through some really tough stuff. It's not glamorous work, but it matters. A lot.

I also help with foster care transportation — driving kids in the foster system to where they need to be. These are children who didn't ask to be in their situation, and the least we can do is make sure someone reliable shows up for them. It's humbling, honestly.

I'm also involved in workforce development in the Midlands, helping people who are trying to get back on their feet find real opportunities. Same idea — just showing up for people who need it.

Jennifer volunteers with Mission Lexington, a faith-based organization here in Lexington, SC that helps local families with food assistance, life skills, and basic needs. She's been doing it quietly for a while because that's just who she is.

Everything, actually.
